Food and wine takes center stage at Biltmore as we celebrate the harvest season with Taste of Biltmore. Guests can experience our farm-to-table heritage with hand-crafted wines and culinary events showcasing our winemakers, chefs, and farmers.
On weekends in September, guests can savor creative wine and food tastings plus distinctive menus featuring estate and locally-raised fare. For a limited time only, guests can also enjoy complimentary tastings of our special reserve wines from North Carolina. Join us for our truly extraordinary feasts hosted in unexpected settings across the estate.

Wine Tasting Events, Activities & Tours:
Taste of North Carolina Wine Release:Mingle with our winemaker while sampling a variety of our NC appelated wines including our newly released Petit Manseng and 2015 Viognier alongside small bites of cheese, fruit, & chocolate

Winery Production Tour:Join our production tour specialists as they guide guests through the wine making process at Biltmore. Guests will learn about our estate vineyards, the unique terrain of NC and the science behind wine making. After the tour, guests will enjoy a guided tasting of our award winning wines in an exclusive setting.
When: Daily in afternoons
Biltmore Barrel Tasting:An exclusive opportunity to experience the impact the barrel has on our award winning wines and the subtle nuance they exude on the nose and palate. Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the production facility while following the journey of the grape to this ancient vessel. Guests will have the opportunity to taste wines directly from the barrel while our winery staff reveals the art and science behind this ancient craft.

West Range Tour:Travel by motorcoach to the estate’s west side for a fascinating look at our past and present forestry, agriculture, and sustainability initiatives

Culinary ShowcaseMeet members of Biltmore’s culinary team along with local purveyors, artisans, and partners as they share their expertise, using local and estate-grown ingredients and products.

Moveable Feast at Dry Cow Hill:Enjoy unparalleled views from the rolling hills overlooking the back of Biltmore House just as the sun begins to set. Hosted by Chefs Kirk Fiore and Spencer Hilgeman. 5 course plated meal paired with Biltmore’s finest wines.
